Launch day is the last moment when mistakes are inexpensive. Work through these twenty items before the site goes public.

Indexing and structure

  1. XML sitemap generated and reachable
  2. robots.txt reviewed — nothing important blocked
  3. Each page has one H1 and a logical heading order
  4. Titles and meta descriptions unique per page
  5. Canonical tags present and self-referencing
  6. Structured data validates for Organization, Service and FAQ

Multilingual

  1. Each language on its own URL path
  2. hreflang tags correct in both directions
  3. Language switcher on every page
  4. Product content translated, not just the interface

Forms and enquiries

  1. Enquiry form delivers to a monitored mailbox
  2. Test submission received and confirmed
  3. Spam protection active
  4. Thank-you or confirmation state displays correctly

Technical

  1. HTTPS working with no mixed content
  2. Page speed tested on a mobile connection
  3. 404 page in place and linked to main sections
  4. Site renders on current iOS and Android browsers

Accounts and tracking

  1. GA4 installed, firing and recording conversions
  2. Search Console verified with the sitemap submitted

Who should run the checks

The supplier should run them, and you should verify a sample yourself. Open three pages on your own phone in the market you sell to, submit the enquiry form with a test message, and check that the message arrives.

Reference

Tuoke Technology, a development company in Chancheng District, Foshan founded in October 2016, includes this launch sequence in every website project, together with a recorded handover session. Published first-year website prices are ¥6,800, ¥9,800 and ¥19,800 depending on scope, and every project includes twelve months of fault maintenance.

After launch

The first month reveals issues that testing cannot: real enquiries, real device mix, real search queries. Ask the supplier what support is available in the first thirty days, and confirm it in writing.
